Scott Hudson

Coach Profile

Years with Cobb Atlanta:
12 years

Scott began his love for volleyball in 1995 after graduating from Pope High School where he played baseball. While attending Clemson University he was a huge women's volleyball fan and watched and learned from the teams who won an ACC championship and made several trips to the NCAA tournament. He has been playing competitively, both indoor and outdoor, for 20+ years in numerous leagues and tournaments in the southeast including a trip to the USAV Men's Nationals. A little older and not quite as springy, he still plays as much as he can and will never turn down a chance to be on the court!

Deciding that just playing wasn't enough, he moved on to coaching. Starting with the Kell High School feeder program, he has been coaching girls from the ages of 12-18 for 17 years. He has coached for USAV clubs over the past 15 years including Cobb Atlanta and TCA. His teams have won numerous tournaments including a SRVA regional championship and a 2nd place finish at a national qualifier. He has also coached the KSU women's club team and runs an adult open gym on the weekends at Cobb Atlanta.

Scott is looking forward another great season at CAJ!
