I began playing volleyball in 9th grade at North Cobb High School and was named to 2nd Team All County as an Outside Hitter my Senior year. I played club for Cobb Atlanta in 1997 at its initial inception and for Volleyball Atlanta in 1998. While attending the University of Tennessee, I played for the club volleyball team in 1999 as well as intramural volleyball, both indoor and sand.

I have a B.S. in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University and coached for Cobb Atlanta in 2000 while attending KSU. After taking a break for career and family, I began coaching again in 2012 at Eastside Christian School where we placed 2nd in the NAML league in 2015 and won the NAML Championship in 2016.

I began coaching at Cobb Atlanta Juniors once again in 2016 as the 15-1 ATL Head Coach, the highlight of which was winning the 15-Club Silver Bracket (11th overall) at Lil Big South. In 2017, as the 14-1 ATL Head Coach, we placed 2nd overall at Lil Big South, won one tournament, placed in several others, and finished 9th overall at Regionals. In 2017, I coached the JV team at Wheeler High School where I took over the program as Varsity Head Coach for the 2018 season managing teams for players in 6th through 12th grades.
