Preseason Fitness Evaluations

Each team is assigned a time to be evaluated in several different areas of fitness, and will be assessed by medical professionals from Pinnacle Orthopaedics. 
Fitness Evaluations
Every player will be tested in 6 different fitness exercises. These exercises will help to determine where each player is currently at in regards to strength, power, stamina, speed, and agility. Over the course of the season there will be opportunities for players to retest each of the 6 exercises to try and achieve different CAJ fitness levels. 
Functional Movement Screening (FMS) provided by Pinnacle Orthopaedics is an innovative system used to evaluate movement pattern quality for athletes. This movement-based assessment will pinpoint functional deficits related to proprioceptive, mobility and stability weaknesses. If these risk factors can be identified and addressed using FMS, then decreases in injuries and improved performance should follow.
